This note maps what feeds the tactics garden: open US doctrine, original tradecraft where pubs are thin, and the private doctrine archive that holds full converted manuals outside the public tree.
What feeds this garden
- Open US doctrine - ADP, ADRP (legacy), FM, ATP, GTA, selected JP pubs released for public distribution (Army Publishing Directorate and related channels).
- Original tradecraft - notes authored where open doctrine is thin (especially special reconnaissance, surveillance detection, counter-surveillance).
- Open analytic frameworks - PMESII-PT, ASCOPE, COG, CARVER as taught in public pubs and professional practice.

When a note says source: GTA 31-01-003 (Jan 2020), treat that as a citation pointer. Expand digests by re-reading the archive full text, then rewriting into the concept spine.
